Working in VR

Working in VR is as exciting as it sounds. From the first time I put a headset on, I knew the great potential it had to make an impact on people. Since then, I've bought a VR headset and joined University on a journey to learn how to create these amazing experiences.

The journey has been worth it as I've worked on amazing projects and created amazing experiences. The most important ones are highlighted below.

Across kingdoms

Did you hear that sound? Monsters are approaching fast… they are trying to take over the world! You are a Guardian, take your bow. Shoot an arrow. Defend everyone!

In this project, due to the size of our team, I wear different hats on the development pipeline. I am the lead designer, lead VFX artist, and a gameplay programmer. My main tasks currently are finalizing the GDD, making VFX for the game, and creating new levels. This project is done in Unity.

We have showcased the first prototype on different occasions and the general feedback of the public has helped us to reiterate on the design and add more things to make our game a more unique experience.

Bounty Bullet

This is the wild west. You have arrived from another world, a world where you can explode things with your eyes!

You don't want to hurt anybody in town... but they won't leave you alone!!! There is no other way, you have to make them explode, but not the young ladies of course ;)

This is a 3DOF VR gaze game made on Unity3D. It was created using Windows Mixed Reality and we are in the process of converting it to a mobile VR game everyone can enjoy on their smartphones.

I did most of the AI for this game, as well as the exploding objects and moving targets.

This game was proudly showcased by the School of Product design at Armageddon in 2019. The best part of building a project is making people happy and delivering a great experience and that is what we did with Bounty Bullet.
